Ascolto empatico The other day I was certain of why certain people are more obnoxious than others. An old friend approaches and begins with the customary pleasantries. During the conversation I noticed that there was absolutely no attention to what I said, was now ready the answer no matter what I said. Speaking of the renovation of my house in Sicily I said
"You know, we got to restructure the twelfth floor ..." and she still air:
"sure, I guess that's great, we know ..." .
no doubt that the country does not even exist a house with more than three levels. Then I continued:
"The girls wanted to bring friends home and then we made eighteen guest rooms with a capacity of more than sixty people" . And she replied:
"Of course, friends are important, even my daughters have several friends ..." The ability to listen is considered one of the più importanti competenze che fanno la differenza nei rapporti e rendono le persone più simpatiche.
Gli obiettivi dell’Ascolto Empatico sono sostanzialmente due:
- Attivare un arricchimento personale
- Fornire un sostegno al nostro interlocutore
Nel caso dell'amica non si trattava di ascolto empatico ma di
Ascolto finto: un ascolto a tratti, caratterizzato da distrazione in cui ci si lascia guidare più dall’istinto selezionando le notizie “più importanti”. Si tratta si un ascolto passivo in cui è data la possibilità all’altro di parlare.
Poteva anche trattarsi di
Ascolto logico: un ascolto basato sulla comprensione logic of the content, however, comes to understand the deeper meanings of communication. The other party will, however, the feeling of being understood.
But in any case it was not
empathic listening. In this form of communication, the focus shifts from
"because" the other says , interpret or experienced a situation in
"as" says: having, showing, and then
, interest and understanding. In this way the speaker, feeling listened to, will try to improve communication both in quantity and quality, making the communication of rich information with a view of trust, stima ed onestà.
Al fine di mettere in pratica la tecnica dell’Ascolto Empatico è importante tener presente i seguenti comportamenti:
- Essere partecipi ed attenti
- Entrare nella relazione con la mente aperta cercando di comprendere i suoi vissuti
- Osservare il comportamento non verbale
- Identificare le emozioni dell’interlocutore e dare risposta ad essere
- Evitare distrazioni
In poche parole solo ascoltando direte al vostro interlocutore:
"sei importante, ho stima di te e riconosco, rispetto e condivido il tuo sentimento". Buon ascolto empatico a tutti.
